Post Carnival Tractor Race Turns Tragic in Moradabad

It was meant to be a fun ride for residents of Bilari who had gone to visit a cultural mela (carnival). The Moradavad village residents had hired two tractors to do their annaul trip to the fair.

However, on their way back the drivers of the two tractors filled with people were trying to overtake each other resulting in a driver losing control of the wheel causing the tractor to overrturn. Following this, the fun ride was cut short and people just spilled over to the roads badly hurt.

An onlooker managed to call an ambulance in which scores of injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are being treated.

The condition of a few are is said to be critical. Interesingly, one of the villagers who was sitting in the other tractor was shooting the entire ride from the carnival venue to their home. The video has been widely shared on social media platforms and gone viral.
