Chandrababu, Master Of False Promises: Ambati

Guntur: YSR Congress Party leader Ambati Rambabu criticised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and called him as a cheat. Speaking at a training programme for booth conveners, he said that there was no one to beat Chandrababu in making false promises. The AP CM had started drawing up a new set of false promises to get back to power once again, he said and added that it was the duty of booth conveners and party workers to educate the masses.

Ambati said that BJP had tried to be an alliance partner with YSRCP during the last elections, but their party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had decided not to have a tie-up with a communal party. After the YSRCP refused to go in for an alliance, the TDP jumped on the BJP bandwagon, he said. It was unfair on part of the TDP to conduct a false campaign against YSRCP and BJP as alliance partners, he said.

The YSRCP leader expressed his surprise that though Chandrababu had 40 years of political experience he was not able to identify Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a cheat despite being their ally for four years. It was time that people of AP showed the door to TDP government, he added.
