Political Rivalry Killed Bodupalli Srinivas: Cong
Nalgonda: Condemning the gruesome murder of Municipal Chairperson's husband Bodupalli Srinivas, the Telangana Congress leaders alleged that the rivals killed the leader as they could not face Srinivas politically in the district.
A condolence meeting was arranged today at Marrigudem Bypass here. AICC in-charge Secretary for Telangana affairs, R C Khuntia, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, senior Congress leaders Jaipal Reddy, Jana Reddy, Marri Sashidhar Reddy, V Hanumanth Rao, Revanth Reddy, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Madhu Yashki Goud, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy including family members of Srinivas attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Raj Gopal Reddy said that TRS leaders are resorting to such violence since they are weak in the district. The Nalgonda police have become agents for the ruling TRS. He asserted that the downfall of the TRS would begin from Nalgonda, he said.
