Vizag Auto Accident: School Girl Warned, But Driver Raju Ignored

A probe is going on into the tragic accident of an autorickshaw ramming into a lorry on Wednesday in Visakhapatnam. Eight students who were in the autorickshaw met with severe injuries. While four of them were severely injured, four others along with the auto-driver Raju suffered minor injuries. One girl Hasini Priya, studying 10th class, suffered a head injury. Doctors have operated and put her on observation. 

Autodriver Raju was in a rush to drop the eight school kids at their school and return to pick up the other students. With this Raju was driving the auto at rash speed. Meanwhile when the autorickshaw was at Sangam centre, girl Hasini Priya had alerted auto driver Raju about the lorry coming in the opposite direction. She warned him about the lorry, as per reports.

However, Raju ignored her caution as he was in a rush to drop the students at the school. This led to the auto ramming into the lorry and the unfortunate tragic accident. Traffic police also opined that the accident could be avoidable. The auto was severely damaged beyond repair. Cops have booked the case.
