Telangana government is coming up with new schemes ahead of Huzurabad bypoll. In the last four weeks, nearly Rs 665 crore worth of proposals have been submitted to the state government by the TRS MLAs, MLCs, and other leaders for taking up various development works in the bypoll bound Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
Now, in Asifabad youth have started a campaign asking their MLA to submit his resignation. They are saying that if the MLA resigns then the ruling government will sanction funds and the constituency will be developed.
The government has already sanctioned Rs. 365 crore for the development of Huzurabad. Recently, KCR announced that the government is going to spend Rs. 2,000 crore for implementing Dalit Bandhu Scheme in Huzurabad. The main aim of this scheme is to provide Rs. 10 lakh financial aid each to nearly 21,000 Dalit families.
After the resignation of Etela Rajender, the ruling TRS government sanctioned a total of Rs 310 crore to the Manair River Front project in Karimnagar, Rs 35 crore for development works in Huzurabad town, and Rs 30 crore for Jammikunta municipality in the constituency. According to the reports, Rs.3,000 crore is going to be spent on the Huzurabad constituency alone for taking up various development programs.
