India Tour Of New Zealand Postponed

The India tour of New Zealand has been postponed till next year due to the Kiwi Cricket Board's have a hectic schedule during their home summer. Virat Kohli and his teammates will visit the country next year. They were slated to play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) as part of the new 2023 ODI Super League.

According to a New Zealand cricket team spokesman, India will not travel this season but would complete in 2022, after the men's Twenty20 World Cup in Australia in November.

Meanwhile, the Kiwi players will not be able to return home until the end of November and will be subjected to a quarantine that will not be completed before December. New Zealand is currently competing with Pakistan in the white ball series. They will then fly to the United Arab Emirates and arrive in India shortly after the T20 World Cup.

The Black Caps have a busy home summer schedule, including games against South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands. "We have to be careful of players returning from a long winter, and we have to give them time at home as well," said New Zealand Cricket Team CEO David White.
