You may be a gorgeous girl in the town and knows acting too and yet landing a role in a film is no walk in the park. Actress Divi Vadthya knows this struggle all too well. She faced numerous challenges while chasing acting opportunities in Tollywood.

Despite best efforts, Divi did not get a role in the Telugu movie. However, she gained instant fame through her appearance on Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 and is set to star in the upcoming Telugu film ‘Lambasingi,’ which is slated for release on March 15, 2024, Friday. In a recent film promotional interview, Divi became emotional as she recounted her struggles in the industry.

With a background in modelling, Divi worked tirelessly to secure acting opportunities. She visited countless offices and attended numerous auditions, only to face rejection time and time again. Some people promised to contact her but never did, while others bluntly refused to cast her. Criticism ranged from being too slim to not being the right fit for a particular role. Despite the setbacks, Divi remained determined.

During her challenging journey, Divi experienced moments of sadness and frustration, even breaking down in tears under the shower one night. When she accepted a small role in a dance sequence, she faced online trolls who criticised her dancing abilities. Divi further said that she was selected for a role in a Ravi Teja film after an audition, only to be replaced by another actress five days into shooting.
