Poll Strategist Prashant Kishor, is a name that needs no introduction. According to the reports, he is likely to join the Congress party without any preconditions. He may join congress in the next three to four days.
Prashant Kishor had meetings with the interim president of Congress Sonia Gandhi and he gave a detailed presentation on the roadmap to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is said that Prashant Kishor also met senior leaders like Priyanka Gandhi, Mukul Wasnik, KC Venugopal, Digvijay Singh, Ambika Soni, Randeep Surjewala, and Kamal Nath.
National General Secretary KC Venugopal said that role of Prashant Kishor in the Congress Party will be known in a couple of days. According to the reports, Prashant Kishor in his presentation suggested that Congress should fight alone in Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Bihar and it should form alliances in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.
After Congress tasting defeat in the recent elections held in five states, Congress is seeking to restart negotiations with Prashant Kishor. Congress general secretary Tariq Anwar on Thursday said that "Prashant Kishor is a brand and he has proven that whichever party he has worked for since 2014 turned out successful except for the Congress-SP in 2017. He has planned the electoral strategies for different parties like Trinamool congrees, AAP, DMK."
He also said that Prashant Kishor has left the job of consultant and won't be a consultant for any party and he wants to join the Congress. Will Prashant Kishor's entry into Congress is beneficial? The Congress leaders are saying Yes. Some of them are saying that he is going to play the role Amit Shah played in Narendra Modi's campaign in 2014.
