Guntur: With an eye on upcoming assembly polls and to maximise its electoral gains, the ruling YSRCP has announced a major reshuffle in several constituencies across Andhra Pradesh. As part of the exercise, the party leadership has replaced in-charges (party coordinators) for eleven key assembly seats.

Addressing the media persons from the Chief Minister's camp office on Monday evening, senior leader and Minister Botsa Satyanarayana confirmed the changes while noting that several ministers were also affected by the restructuring exercise.

Guntur West- Vidadala Rajini, Mangalagiri-Ganji Chiranjeevi, Pattipadu (SC)-Balasani Kiran Kumar, Vemuru (SC)- V Ashok Babu, Santanutalapadu (SC)-Dr.Merugu Nagarjuna, Tadikonda (SC)-Mekathoti Sucharita, Kondepi (SC) - Dr. Adimulapu Suresh, Chilakaluripet- M. Rajesh Naidu, Addanki-Panem Hanimi Reddy, Repalle - Dr Evuru Ganesh, Gajuwaka-Varikooti Ramachandra Rao have been appointed as party incharges respectively. .

"All of them will monitor the affairs of the party from tomorrow. The party does not spare anyone. We use everyone's services. We will work towards achieving 175 out of 175 seats. We are working to give courage to the downtrodden. Saying something is not doing. We have taken this decision to win in 175 constituencies in AP elections," said Botsa.

"Starting tomorrow, the newly appointed in-charges will actively participate in overseeing party affairs across all constituencies. Our party firmly believes in utilising everyone's potential and nobody is considered indispensable. Our goal is to achieve a historic 175 out of 175 seats. Our mission is to empower the underprivileged and translate words into action," Botsa told reporters.

Meanwhile, state government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the recent changes in the restructuring of constituency incharges is part of the party's comprehensive preparations for the 2024 elections.

"Since the birth of the party, we have been working for the people and we consider it as our responsibility. We will continue to evaluate candidates in order to achieve electoral success and the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has repeatedly stated its importance,” Sajjala said.

The YSRCP leader added that the opposition appears to be struggling to identify potential candidates for the upcoming election, however, in our party we believe in collaborative decision-making and the changes have been made with the consultation of stakeholders.
