AP Reports 70 New COVID-19 Cases On May 30

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh has reported 70 new cases of coronavirus, taking the state's tally to 2,944 on Saturday.
No death has been reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll remained at 60. Of the cases reported on Saturday, three from Chittoor are related to the Koyembedu market in Tamil Nadu.

According to the state's health bulletin, 55 people were discharged from COVID-19 designated hospitals. The number of patients recovered and discharged from the hospital stood at 2,092.

The active cases in the state are 792.

In the last 24 hours, 9,504 samples were tested, out of which 70 tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus.
In all, 111 active cases of foreign returnees are present in the state, while 406 are cases from other states.
