AP CM YS Jagan Pays Tributes To Telugu Poet Gurram Jashuva

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid rich tributes to Gurram Jashuva on the occasion of his birth anniversary on Tuesday.  Gurram Jashuva was a poet who made one question the evils of society through his poetry. The Navayuga Kavi, Jashuva strived for the self-respect of the downtrodden people. Paying rich tributes on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Jashuva Garu who rendered many such writings to the Telugu people, YS Jagan tweeted.

Gurram Jashuva was a legendary figure in the Telugu literary world. He fought against caste-based discrimination through his writings and poetry. For his contribution to Telugu poetry and Society, he was called the " Navayuga Kavi or the Poet of the Millennium for his literature.
