How to Apply?

Application forms are available online. Please go through the guidelines carefully and submit the forms online. Remember to upload a recent passport-size colour photograph of yours. Send a filled in print-out to Sakshi School of Journalism by ordinary post. The online application has to be submitted with a fee of Rs. 200 through net banking/credit/debit card.

On submission of form along with fees, a unique number will be generated. Once you key in this unique number, a registration ID will be generated. Using this number you can download the hall ticket on Thursday, May 31, 3pm onwards.

Selection process in 2 phases...

Candidates will have to appear for a written test in two rounds. The first will consist of objective type questions in English/Hindi and current affairs.

The second round will comprise essay questions in English/Hindi and current affairs in addition to translation exercises. Model question papers can be obtained from the websites of Sakshi School of Journalism and Sakshi Education. Candidates who clear the first round will move to the interview round. Candidates who clear this round will be selected for admission into the course.

Terms of Agreement...

Candidates will have to submit an undertaking stating their willingness to work with the Sakshi media group for three years, including the period of study. They will be required to submit a signed bond to this effect before the commencement of the course itself.

Stipend Amount:

First 3 months ...... Rs.10,000

Next 9 months ...... Rs, 12,000

One year Trainee on the desk... Rs.15,000

Subsequently, the pay and allowances will be bound by the rules of the company and based on the candidate's merit, with potential for growth.

What you need to have...

Undergraduate Degree (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/B.Tech etc)

Sound English/Hindi language skills

Familiarity with Telugu
