The Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12th results 2018 has been released today by the state education minister KA Sengottaiyan.

The overall pass percentage this year for TN HSC students is 91.1% with 87.7% being the overall pass percentage for boys and 94.1% being the overall pass percentage for girls. Around 6,754 schools reported 100% result. Virudhunagar district recorded highest pass percentage - 97% and Erode secured second position at 96.3% pass percentage. Tiruppur district secured third rank with a pass percentage of 96.1%.

Students who had appeared for exam can check their respective scores at the website itself, once released. On April 28, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan said that the results of both HSC and SSLC exams will be declared as per schedule and on time.

The TN HSC Class 12th exams 2018 were held between March 3 and April 6. No Ranks and Toppers' names in Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12th results 2018. The Tamil Nadu Board decided not to announce ranks and the names of the toppers this time, in a bid to discourage unhealthy competition among the students.

* Go to the official websites: tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in

* Click on the results link: Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12th Results

* Enter student roll number and other details

* Click Submit

* The Class 12th result will be displayed on the screen. Download the result and take a printout for future use.

In 2017, a total of 9,82,097 students appeared for the exams. Alternatively, the Board will also release an SMS facility for obtaining the results by sending the roll number by SMS.

A total of 9,82,097 students had appeared for the Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12th exams in 2017. Virudhunagar district stood first with a pass percentage of 98.55, while Kanyakumari had the lowest pass percentage at 98.17 per cent.
