Newborn twins found dead in garbage bin in Vijayawada

In a tragic incident, barely days old newborn twins were found dumped in a garbage bin in Vijayawada.

The baby girls were found dead in the garbage bin near Eluru irrigation locks.
The incident came to light when a local resident went to dispose of garbage. The police are trying to trace the baby’s parents.
In a similar incident, a newborn girl child was on Monday found abandoned in the bushes near Buddhanagar under the Medipalli police limits.
The cries of the baby attracted the attention of a woman who immediately alerted the police. The baby was admitted to Niloufar hospital.
The police are checking with hospitals to trace the baby’s mother.
