After reading the news stories published in the newspapers pampered by Chandrababu, Mudragada said that he wanted to write an Open Letter to Pawan Kalyan.

Kirlampudi (East Godavari): Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabam on Tuesday appealed to Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan not to lower his status by believing the false promises doled out by AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

In the wake of Pawan Kalyan's meeting with Chandrababu Naidu at the AP Secretariat to discuss possible treatment to Uddanam kidney patients and several other issues, Mudragada dashed off an open letter to the Jana Sena founder.

Mudragad recalled that a GO (Government Order) No. 30 was issued by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh - Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, for the inclusion of Kapus in BC list on August 25, 1994. There was no truth in Chandrababu Naidu's claims that the GO was annulled by the AP High Court, he said.

After reading the news stories published in the newspapers pampered by Chandrababu, Mudragada said that he wanted to write an Open Letter to Pawan Kalyan.

The Eenadu Telugu daily had also published a news story on April 7, 1995, quoting the High Court's verdict that the GO 30 was in accordance with the law, Mudragada pointed out.

The Kapu leader said AP Minister Atchen Naidu assured that the government would implement the reservation to Kapus within seven months after getting a report from the BC Commission. "It's been more than 18 months now, no action has been initiated," Mudragada regretted.

Mudragada appealed to Pawan Kalyan not to fall pray to the gimmicks and false promises of Chandrababu. He said this would lower the status of Jana Sena.
