Mohammad Shahzad Apes Dhoni’s Helicopter Shot

Afghan cricketer Mohammad Shahzad, who is known for his commendable performance on the ground has again grabbed the headlines with his striking shot in ICC World Cup 2018 against West Indies. After the Sunday match against West Indies, Shahzad became the talk of the town. The cricketer imitated helicopter shots of MS Dhoni.

The highest ODI scorer, who once said in an interview about imitating Dhoni's shot has now put it into action, which has sent the cricket fans into a tizzy. At his 84 runs, the Afghan batsman and wicket Keeper pulled off the helicopter shot facing the ball from West Indies captain Jason. Shahzad, who was very confident on the shot has not even had a look at the ball.

Shahzad's stellar performance in the cricket pitch helped the team to win the title in the final against West Indies. This was the first victory of Afghanistan as they had lost first three matches in 2018 ICC World Cup qualifiers. Mohammad Shahzad made 84 runs out of 93 balls in the match. The score included 11 fours and two sixes.

Another cricket star Mujeeb Ur Rahman was also stole the limelight with his bowling. Rahman has taken four wickets for 43, which made WI to restrict the score to 204 in 46.5 overs.
