Man Held For Killing Paramour’s Husband

Hyderabad: A person identified as Yashovardhan has been arrested by Dundigal police on Monday for killing a man by name Ravinder, who was a small time thief, with whose wife he developed an extramarital affair.

Ravinder and Padma got married in 2012 and have two children. She started an extra-marital relationship with Yashovardhan when Ravinder went to jail in a theft case. The secret affair continued even after Ravinder came out of jail. Upon knowing this Ravinder warned the duo and Padma started avoiding Yashovardhan.

The incident came to light as police were on look out for Ravinder, as a case was registered against him, not realizing that he was murdered

Yashovardhan then colluded with his friend Nagaraju and hacked Ravinder to death in September 2015 at a forest area near Sainath Society, Bahadurpally.

Police tracked down Padma’s phone and came to know that she has been living with Yashovardhan. Upon interrogation, Yashovardhan confessed to committing the murder. He said he didn’t disclose the crime to Padma and made her believe that Ravinder will never come back as he has been imprisoned on serious offence.

Ravinder’s body was sent for a post-mortem on Friday and are on look out for his absconding friend.
