Man ends life moments before wedding

Hours later, he would have been adorned in the best clothes and would smile and shimmer. He was to enter into wedlock. But, Sheikh Hameed of Ameenapur in Nizamabad district's Velpur mandal chose to consume poison and end life. The incident that occurred on Thursday sent shock waves in the village. Hameed (24) was to marry a girl from Binola village in the same mandal. But, before the marriage party was to set out on its journey to the bride's village, Hameed went missing. Frantic search for him led to the farm lands on the outskirts of the village, where he was found in an unconscious state. He died while being shifted to the hospital. Hameed, employed in the Gulf, has a history of suicide attempts and was known to be abrasive in behavious. The reason for his extreme act are not known as yet.  The police are investigating.
