Lobbying for TTD post intensifies

Former Tirupati MLA Chadalawada Krishna Murthy is likely to bag the prestigious post of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is said to be preparing to appoint him to the post.

State BJP spokesperson G.Bhanuprakash Reddy, who is  close to Union Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu, is likely be appointed as a member of the TTD board. Earlier, he was considered for both  TTD and TUDA posts. Now, it emerges that Chandrababu is planning to give the TUDA chief post to another leader.

Dr.P.Hariprasad, a close associate of actor Pawan Kalyan, is also trying to become TTD board member.

The TDP sources say that TTD posts are confirmed for film director K.Raghavendra Rao and former TTD JEO P.Balasubramanyam.

Present chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju is requesting the chief minister to permit him to complete his full term. He has the term till July 25.

Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, who has an eye on the post for a longtime, is lobbying hard for the post. Former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu is also trying to get the post of Chairman of TTD. But,it is likely that Chadalavada will pip them past.
