Large fire accident in Visakha SEZ as diesel tanks explode

Visakha: A large fire mishap was witnessed at the Duvvada SEZ in Visakha on Tuesday as three diesel tanks of Biomax company exploded. It is reported that a single diesel tank exploded at first, at around 8 pm on Tuesday night. This caused another two diesel tanks to explode, thereby engulfing the area under fire.

The reasons for the fire were not yet ascertained. Fire engines were immediately pressed into service to try and douse the fire. Various officials have rushed to the spot on hearing about the news.
