TRS chief KCR on Wednesday rebutted the remarks made by TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for terming his party as thoka (tail) party.
Naming Chandrababu Naidu as chameleon which changes its colours frequently in accordance with the environment, KCR questioned why he had poll tie-up with his party in 2009 when it was a thoka party. TRS might have a thondam (elephant's trunk) party then, KCR said, adding that Naidu was doing padayatra not for the sake of the people, but for power.
He demanded that Chandrababu should reveal facts why he was differing no-trust motion when there was a chance to dethrone the Kiran Government. People of the State should know why he was shielding the Congress Government against the wishes of Late NTR. He said the soul of NTR would cry seeing the misdeeds of Chandrababu as he was always trying to protect the Congress party, the TRS chief said.
