Kavitha Slams Lokesh for insensitive talk for political gain

Hyderabad: TRS MP and Telangana Jagruthi chief K. Kavitha on Wednesday slammed the opposition parties who have been using religion for the GHMC elections.

Speaking at a 'meet the press', the Nizamabad MP alleged that TDP and BJP are trying to attract the civic voters by dividing them on the basis of religions. She urged the people to boycott those parties that are trying to spoil the harmony of Hyderabad city people.

The TRS leader stated that all the people living in the city of Hyderabad are like their own people and belong to Telangana State only and everyone residing in the city and state is equal to Chief Minister KCR. She also said that there was no discrimination on anybody is being practiced by the TRS government in the state.

Kavitha detailed that the ruling TRS is going for GHMC elections as a people's party and with the ultimate slogan “Mana Nagaram-Mana Party” (Our City-Our Party). She ridiculed TDP leader Nara Lokesh dubbing him as an 'ignorant'.

She also said the disappointed leaders from the various parties including TDP have been joining TRS party just because of lots of space in 'Car' and no space on 'Cycle' and expressed her confidence that her party would definitely win in the war of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
