KTR counters Lokesh's poll promise of developing Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana IT and Panchayatiraj minister K.T.Ramarao, ridiculed the TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh's poll promise of getting funds from the Centre to transform Hyderabad into an international city.

“When Modi had come to Amaravati with only a fist full of sand and mug of water, it would be better for Lokesh to think about ways to develop Amaravati, in stead of Hyderabad', he said and added that only KCR has the ability and the commitment to transform Hyderabad into an international city.

KTR addressed the party members at Hydernagar division of Serilingampally constituency in Wednesday. He requested the citizens of Hyderabad to vote wisely. Likening the TRS party to a milch cow, the minister tried to prevail on the voters to get behind their party that was already in power to see results.

There is no point in voting for BJP, TDP and Congress he said, and stated that only the ruling TRS party can provide solutions and ensure progress. He revealed that the government is taking up welfare measures worth 1100 crore for the minority Muslim community.

He assured the gathering that if they all voted TRS candidate in the Hydernagar division, then it would be his responsibility to develop Hydernagar division on all fronts. When the residents questioned him about the water problems in the area, he assured them that soon every house would obtain water everyday.
