Hyderabad: If rumours are anything to go by, Jr NTR would soon be launching a political outfit.

Rumour mill has been agog with reports of NTR's friend and Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani and his father and former Rajya Sabha MP Nandamuri Harikrishna going into a huddle in order to look at the possibility of launching a political outfit.

The duo is said to have consulted several senior politicians and are seeking their opinion in this connection. While some gave a thumbs down, others have advised the duo to analyze the pros and cons before taking the plunge.

Politics is not new to Harikrishna as he had launched a political outfit called Anna Telugu Desam way back in 1999. The party contested in general elections and failed to win even a single seat. Subsequently, Harikrishna merged the party with TDP and even became politburo member of the party and was nominated to Rajya Sabha.

According to rumours, Nani and Harikrishna are trying to woo as many senior leaders as possible from TDP camp. According to reports, Harikrishna and Jr NTR are not happy with TDP.and the former is of the opinion that 'injustice' was being meted out to him and his son Jr NTR in the TDP after campaigning for the party in 2009 elections.

Chandrababu Naidu's move to make his son Nara Lokesh his heir apparent, has not gone down well in Harikrishna's camp. Harikrishna wants his son Tarak to lead TDP.

Since NTR is presently busy with his movie projects, Nani and Harikrishna want him to join them later. Meanwhile the duo has started the groundwork for launching the political party. Nani is most trusted aid of Jr NTR and Jr NTR himself reiterated that many times recently. The recent public appearance of Nani with Harikrishna and Nani's statement that Harikrishna was his 'Political Guru' indicated that something was brewing.

However whether it becomes reality or not is something we will have to wait and see. If everything goes as per plan, a new political outfit would see the light before 2019 elections.
