IPL 2018: Birthday Wishes Galore As Hitman Rohit Sharma Turns 31

Mumbai Indians captain, Indian cricket team opener and the king of double centuries, Rohit Sharma celebrates his birthday today, as he turns 31. On this ocassion, Rohit is receiving an overwhelming number of wishes from his teammates, senior players and fans.

The classy opening batsman, who is fondly called 'Hitman' by cricket fans, has a few sensational records to his name. Rohit is the only batsman to score double centuries in One Day Internationals on three ocassions. His 264 runs is the highest individual score in ODIs. He is only the third batsman to score centuries across all formats of cricket.

The Mumbai batsman also broke the records by winning two IPL Trophies as a captain for Mumbai Indians.

Former India opener Virender Sehwag tweeted, "With @ImRo45 , talent Ki Tanki is always full. He is my favourite batsman to watch and I really love watching him bat. May you continue to prosper and shine and keep the talent alive always. #HappyBirthdayRohit."

Left handed batsman, who is currently with Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2018 campaign, also wished Rohit on Twitter. "To the man who makes playing cricket look like a cake walk!! Inke naam mein hi HIT hai. Wishing you a very, very happy birthday, @ImRo45! May you have a super duper HIT year ahead," read his tweet.
