Intermediate Student Held For Drug Peddling
Hyderabad: An intermediate student along with three others were arrested by the Task Force officials on Tuesday for carrying 22 grams of MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine), popularly called ecstasy.
The officials said that the 17-year-old juvenile, studying Intermediate second year at Himayatnagar, was the brain behind a drug peddlers racket. The accused Md Ibrahim, Md Altaf Hussain, Prashant and the juvenile are residents of Tarnaka.
Last year the juvenile met a drug peddler Hannan in the city and got introduced to the drugs. The teen thought it an easy way of earning money and then started procuring drugs and sold it for higher prices. Task Force DCP B. Limba Reddy said that on a tip off they arrested him and his customers while selling drugs at Tarnaka.
