Hyderabad Woman Techie Commits Suicide In Hostel

HYDERABAD: A 24-year-old woman software employee allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in a hostel room in Raidurgam near Gachibowli, On Wednesday, November 20.

The deceased has been identified as Pogaku Harini who has been working as a Junior software developer at Golden Hills Captial India Pvt Ltd in Gachibowli for the last two and half years. But company had recruited her on a contract basis and she had to quit the job in December as her contract period had come to an end. She committed suicide by hanging off a fan in her hostel room in Raidurgam before completion of her contract period of job.

Raidurgam Police registered a case and started an inquiry. Police suspect she was depressed because she was losing her job.
