Woman Threatens Suicide At Moosarambagh Metro Station

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old woman ragpicker, allegedly in an inebriated state, attempted to commit suicide after climbing the staircase at the Metro rail station here Tuesday, police said.

The incident happened at the Moosarambagh station about four pm when she climbed the staircase and later shouted she was going to commit suicide, they said.

A metro security guard managed to stop her and alerted police.

It was found that she was a ragpicker and allegedly in an inebriated state when the incident happened,police said, adding she was being counselled. (PTI)
