Hyderabad Traffic Police Collect Rs59 Lakh From Traffic Violators

Believe it or not, a commercial four-wheeler vehicle, which costs around Rs 9 lakh was fined Rs 7,64,220 for constantly violating traffic rules for numerous times. After the penalty point system came into place, the Hyderabad traffic police brought out a list of top ten traffic violators.
According to the details, commercial vehicles in the top ten category have so far paid Rs 59.8 lakh as fine to the traffic police for frequent violation of rules. The police said that a biker was issued 97 challans for not using helmet while he was riding his two-wheeler vehicle in the city.
