High Court rejects bail to Nimmagadda

The AP High Court on Monday rejected the bail plea of industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials in the VANPIC  case.

Rejecting the bail, Justice Samudrala Govindarajulu agreed with the contention of the CBI counsel that releasing Prasad at this juncture would influence the witness in the case.
It may be recalled that Nimmagadda Prasad was arrested on May15 in connection with the Vanpic case.
