Harley Davidson bike thief turns out to be marine engineer

Hyderabad: The city police managed to nab the person who was involved in the sensational theft of iconic Harley Davidson bike from a city showroom. He was picked up from Mumbai, where he was working as submarine engineer in ONGC. He has been identified as Syed Taher.

Efforts are now on to bring him back from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Taher took the bike for a test drive and never returned. It later turned out that the documents and the phone numbers furnished by him were all fake.

Based on a complaint by showroom manager Sheela, the police formed four teams to zero in on him.
