Gun-Wielding Gang Attempts Bank Robbery  

Hyderabad: A gang of three thieves attempted to break open the shutter of a rural bank in Azeez Nagar in Ranga Reddy district on Tuesday night, but fled the scene firing into the air when the locals tried to nab them.

A few youths of the locality noticed the trio trying to break open the shutter of the Telangana Grameena Bank and alerted others who mobbed the miscreants. The thieves then shot into the air to scare the people away and fled.

Police clues team reached the spot with dog squads and is gathering details. Madapur DCP Karthikeya visited the place and an investigation is on.
