'Governor won't interfere on a daily basis'

The sources in the union home ministry clarified that there would be no day-today interference of the governor in the affairs of law and order in Hyderabad.

The officials said that the governor would interfere only in rarest of rare cases.

They also said that governor would not be conducting review meetings with the officials on law and order at regular intervals.

They asked the state government to take up the transfers of the police officials through a board only.

Home ministry sources clarified that the centre was acting only as per the clauses in A.P.Reorganisation Act-2014.
