The much-expected Chandrababu Naidu, Chandrasekhar Rao meet couldn't happen at the Iftar hosted by Governor ESL Narasimhan. Though Chandrababu made it to the meet, KCR gave it a miss.

Speculations were rife that both the Chandras would be seen together at Governor's Iftar party on Wednesday. But, the ice-breaker did not happen as was the bread-breaking.The reason behind KCR's absence is not known.

Leader of the opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made his presence felt at the Iftar's party. Both Chandrababu and Jagan were seen greeting each other. Several other prominent leaders from both the Telugu states were seen chatting away.

Ever since they became chief ministers of the sibling Telugu states, both the Chandras have not been seen together. What more, they appear to be squabbling over every issue. Be it the row over the status of Government employees, Fee reimbursement, or the Polavaram project or even the word like ‘War Room’ is leading to wordy duel between the two.

Both the leaders are chief ministers of sibling states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and have a lot of business to do together. They also have to play a key role to smoothen rough edges in the relations between both the states and its people. However, they appear to be in no mood for reconciling and both have not wished each other.

One may have to wait for another occasion for both the leaders to shake hands.
