Girl Held For Stealing Jewelry From Weddings

Hyderabad: A 19-year-old girl was arrested at Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday who stole jewelry from weddings posing as a guest.
The accused attended weddings at two function halls in Vanasthalipuram and stole the jewelry from women
Police recovered 16 tola gold and 50 tola silver worth Rs 4.75 lakh as she was trying to dispose of the booty at SKD Nagar in Vanasthalipuram.
Rachakonda joint police commissioner TV Shashidhar Reddy said the accused G Pushpa Priya of Chintalkunta had attended weddings at two function halls in Vanasthalipuram and stole the jewelry from women.
