Saaho Overtakes Baahubali In Pre-release Business, Prabhas Matches Rajinikanth In Movie Record

Beating the record of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2, the film has managed to earn the second-highest figure in Indian Cinema after Rajinikanth's Robo 2.0, it is being said.

The success of Prabhas' historical blockbuster film Baahubali 2 created a massive hype for his latest film Saaho. The huge publicity blitz surrounding it generated a huge demand for various rights of the film.

After witnessing the hype of Saaho, leading distribution houses, TV Channels, music labels, and digital studios have been coming forward to acquire the theatrical, satellite, audio and digital rights which is all set for release on August 30.

With the movie close to its release date It is learned that the makers have already sealed all the deals.

It is reported that T- series, which is presenting Saaho's Hindi version has acquired its theatrical rights for a whopping amount of Rs 70 crore.

Amazon Prime reportedly spent Rs 42 crore on the digital rights of Saaho and it is learned that a leading TV channel has bagged the satellite rights of Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil Versions for a sum of Rs 70 crore, it is being said.

The theatrical rights of Saaho reportedly earned Rs 124 crore from the Telugu states, Rs 28 crore from Karnataka, Rs 20 crore from Tamil Nadu, Rs 6 crore from Kerala and Rs 42 crore from all the international markets. The film has fetched a total of Rs 290 crore for its producers, it is said. With this, the movie stood at third place after Rajinikanth's Robo 2.0 and Baahubali 2.

The movie fetched a huge profit of over Rs 152 crores for them even before its release, the buzz goes.

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is a high octane action thriller. UV Creations has reportedly invested Rs 350 crore on its production and promotions. The buzz is that the movie has earned more than Rs 502 crore in its pre-release business.
