Superstar Mahesh Babu has geared up to release the latest flick of 'Maharshi'. Only two days are left for the movie to hit the big screens. Mahesh Babu and the filmmakers are promoting the film to reach a larger section of the audience. Mahesh Babu is garnering support from a majority of the Telugu stars. Samantha Akkineni who is basking in the success of 'Majili' has sent out her best wishes to Mahesh and Maharshi team through a video on Instagram.

So far, we know, 'Maharshi' features Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in lead roles along with Mahesh Babu. Another actress will also be seen in 'Maharshi' and she is none other than Meenakshi Dixit who performed a peppy number in Mahesh Babu and Samantha Akkineni starrer Dookudu which released in 2011. During a media interaction in one of the promotions, Meenakshi Dixit revealed about her role in 'Maharshi'.

She stated to a leading tabloid, “I will be seen essaying the role of Mahesh Babu’s companion in Maharshi. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Oopiri fame, the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Prakash Raj and Meenakshi Dixit in prominent roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the film.
