Will Maharshi Become Chennai Box Office Hit Like Bharat Ane Nenu?

Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film 'Maharshi' is one of the most awaited films of the year. Mahesh Babu enjoys unfathomable fanbase not only in India but he is also a household name across the world. Mahesh Babu fans can't keep counting the days for Maharshi release to know what's in store for them, after his last film Bharat Ane Nenu which released last year. Expectations are riding high on this film. On the other hand, people are betting on big time that 'Maharshi' might surpass Bharat Ane Nenu collections.

It seems like time has really come for Mahesh Babu to beat his own record in Chennai. Mahesh's 'Bharat Ane Nenu' is the first film in Chennai which grossed Rs 1.7 Cr at the end of its theatrical run. Going by the advance booking and hype about the movie in Chennai City, trade analysts predict that Mahesh's 'Maharshi' has the potential to beat Bharat Ane Nenu. It all depends upon the talk of the film. Fans will have to wait for another four days to know the status of 'Maharshi' at Chennai ticket counters.

'Maharshi' is slated for a massive release on May 9, 2019. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in key roles.
