Hyderabad: With her upcoming movie, Maharshi gearing up for release, actress Pooja Hegde is busy with the promotional activities. Maharshi featuring Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles is set for release on May 9. While the movie is already grabbing headlines for all the right reasons, the actress, unfortunately has caught herself in the midst of a drunk and drive case.

As per the ongoing reports, the actress was caught by the traffic police in a drunk and drive case. The incident is reported to have taken place on May 1 in Hyderabad where the makers of Maharshi organized the pre-release event of the movie.

After wrapping up the event, Pooja Hegde along with her team and manager left for a party. However, on the return, the car in which the actress was travelling was stopped for a drunk and drive check by the traffic cops.

Pooja Hegde's manager, driving the car was reportedly intoxicated and was caught by the cops. The manager submitted his driving license and vehicle documents to the cops who later seized the car. As Pooja Hegde was not on the driving seat, she immediately called for another vehicle and the actress along with her team left the location.
