Mr Majnu 7th Day Collection: Akhil Movie Struggling To Rake in Moolah At Box Office

Akkineni Akhil's latest offering Mr Majnu was one of the most awaited movies by Akkineni fans, thanks to its interesting title and also teasers which held youth appeal. Before its release, people expected Mr Majnu to be a promising film going by its trailer. Sadly, the movie opened to mixed reviews from several quarters which was a huge disappointment. We all know that the film failed to impress the audiences. Director Venky Atluri though won appreciation for showing Akhil in a never before seen role. Venky gave hope to the directors that Akhil can be the go-to actor for romantic genres.

According to trade reports, Mr Majnu is the third debacle after Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama and NTR Kathanayakudu that fizzled out at the box office this year. As per reports, the film is barely surviving at the ticket window, as it is facing rejection since its second day of its release.

Talking about movie collections, Mr Majnu has managed to collect $2,291 at the American box office. The total gross of Mr Majnu is said to be $218,065. #MrMajnu collects $2,291 from 52 locations on Wednesday (30 jan). Total gross is $218,065 ??.

Meanwhile, Akhil is busy reading new scripts. It would take some time before he makes an announcement about his new movie. The actor is yet to get over Mr Majnu debacle even though it is learnt that the movie continues to rake in decent moolah at the ticket window. There is no doubt Akhil would take extra caution before saying yes or committing himself to his next movie.
