Yesterday, Mr Majnu premieres were held in North America as well as in Gulf countries. Guess what? The movie has opened to positive reception from all quarters. It appears the movie is going to set a new benchmark for the actor. Akkineni fans seem to be relieved to hear positive reviews about the Akhil movie. They have been waiting for the past eighteen months for Mr Majnu. It wouldn't be wrong to say they are in ecstatic over the movie response.

Mr Majnu is facing a clash with Venkatesh's F2 at the worldwide box office. Due to many big budget movies like Vinaya Vidheya Rama and Petta, it Mr Majnu is believed to have got fewer screens. Venky Atluri, the captain of the ship scored back to back hits with Majnu after his last year blockbuster Tholi Prema. The music has been composed by SS Thaman and film produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad. Mr Majnu marks the debut of Sandalwood actress Nidhhi Agerwal who has played leading lady opposite Akhil.
