Deepika Overtakes Priyanka As The Sexiest Women 

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone became the cynosure of of all eyes and the muse of paparazzi after her marriage to Bajirao Mastani co-star Ranveer Singh. She has now added another feather to her cap. This time she has topped the list of '50 Sexiest Asian Women' which was released by UK based Eastern Eye Weekly. Deepika has already achieved this feat in the past and was named Sexiest Asian Woman in the world twice in the last three years. Priyanka Chopra topped the list the previous year. This year, Deepika Padukone surpassed Bajirao Mastani co-star Priyanka Chopra to climb up the first position in the list. Millions of fans from across the world voted and this list was released on Wednesday. Nia Sharma, a soap opera actor is on number 3 position in the list.

Deepika Padukone said in her latest interview post wedding to GQ magazine that 2018 has been a great year for her personally and professionally. On the big screen she was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat playing the title character Rani Padmavathi, co-starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the movie released in January this year amidst furore but did phenomenal business the box office. Deepika went on a sabbatical post the release of Padmaavat. She will be seen in a movie directed by Meghna Gulzar that she will also be co-producing. This movie is based on acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agrawal.
