NIACL latest job notification: If you are looking for a central government job, this might be a great opportunity to grab. India's largest public sector general insurance company, the New India Assurance Company Limited released a notification inviting applications for 312 Administrative Officer (AO) for Generalists & Specialists posts in scale I Cadre. Interested candidates can register online and pay registration fee from Monday, December 10, until December 26.

The selection procedure for the Administrative Officer posts involves a preliminary examination of objective type in online mode, a cumulative objective & descriptive examination followed by an interview. The Phase-I online examination is scheduled to be held on January 30, 2019 while the Phase-II exam would be held on March 2. Interview date would be announced thereafter.

Out of the 312 AO posts announced by NIACL, generalists would be considered for 245 posts, while the number of available company secretary posts are just 2. As many as 35 AOs in legal team would be appointed and 35 Officers would be considered for Finance and Accounts department.

NIACL Administrative Officer (AO) Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the post of generalist, a candidate has to be a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

The Company Secretary aspirants should possess ACS/FCS from ICSI and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% marks while the Legal stream aspirants should possess a Graduate/Post-graduate in Law with min 60%. The eligibility criteria is only 55% for SC/ST/PwBD.

The eligibility criteria for Finance & Accounts stream is as follows: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or MBA Finance/PGDM FINANCE with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or MCom with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Age Limit for NIACL AO posts:

The minimum age of aspirants is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years. The relaxation in upper age limit will be as per government norms.
