Biopics are creating waves at the box office. This year, Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati on Savitri and Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju on Sanjay Dutt were declared box office hits. On the other hand, biopics of Veteran actor NTR and Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR are already on cards and the shooting of both the films are underway.

Now we have some information about the NTR biopic. Balakrishna has stepped into the shoes of the late actor-turned-politician in the biopic. Earlier, Teja was supposed to direct the film but due to some differences with Balakrishna, he walked out of the project. the film is now being directed by Krish. Most of the audiences are eagerly waiting for the release of NTR biopic who ruled the Tollywood film industry in 80s and 90s.

NTR biopic has created huge buzz among the public ever since it was officially announced. According to sources, Bollywood production house Sony Pictures has came forward to bag the theatrical rights of the NTR biopic in all the languages. If reports doing the rounds are to go anything by, Sony pictures has offered Rs 80 Cr to purchase theatrical rights of NTR. Latest we hear is that the makers are not too happy with the deal as it is already being made on a lavish budget of around Rs 150 Cr. It is being said that after releasing the teaser and promos of NTR biopic they are likely to get a better price than this. We have to wait and watch to see how much the NTR biopic will make from its pre-release.

Bollywood veteran actor Vidya Balan has been finalized to play NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in it. Other star also includes like Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Rakul Preet Singh and Kaikala Satyanarayana will be seen in important roles.
