Television Actress Commits Suicide

Tamil actress who predominantly worked in TV serials including Vamsam, committed suicide this morning at her residence in Valasaravakkam in the city.

Priyanka who was known for her role Jothika in Vamsam, ended her life by hanging herself at her home. She was seen in her role along with the well-known actress Ramya Krishna, who is the lead actress of the serial.

It is learnt that Priyanka took the extreme step after a spat with her family. She also parted her ways with her husband Arunbala whom she married three years ago. Further details are awaited.
