Yatra Teaser Release On YSR Jayanthi

Biopics are ruling the box office ever since M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story became a blockbuster as well as a commercial hit. The recently released Telugu flick Mahanati and hindi film Sanju too turned out to be huge money spinners at the box office. winners. Sanju starred Ranbir while Mahanati starred Keerthy Suresh in titular roles. And both pulled off the roles and earned appreciation from the audience. On the other hand, audiences have been waiting with bated breath for YSR biopic which is under production right now. The shoot is going on at a rapid pace. The title of the film is said to be Yatra featuring Mollywood actor Mammootty playing the role of the late chief minister.

According to sources, Yatra teaser will be unveiled on July 8 (Sunday) to mark late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy's birth anniversary. Yatra revolves around the life of Dr YSR and also touches upin his 1470 km long padyatra in 2003 from Chevella to Ichchapuram.

Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Suhasini Mani Ratnam will be seen in prominent roles. There is no official word on who will reprise the roles of Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Yatra biopic.

The film is directed by Mahi V.Raghav who shot to fame with Anando Brahma which featured Tapsee Pannu in lead role. Watch this space for more.
