Do not be traitors of Seemandhra movement: Jagan

YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday scoffed at both TDP president Chandrababu Naidu and the Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for dancing to the tunes of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Speaking to press persons at his Lotus Pond party office, Jagan accused them of acting against the interests of the State.

“Chandrababu Naidu went on hunger strike in Delhi with a stand to divide the State. Kiran Kumar Reddy, on other hand, is playing covert role in support of Congress High Command. Though he was claiming loyalties with Samaikyandhra spirit, he is using intimidating tactics on agitating groups to douse the fire of Seemandhra stir,” Jagan said. He advised Naidu and the CM not to remain as traitors of Samaikyandhra movement and join the struggle at least now.
Taking a dig at Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Jagan said she (Sonia) engineered the division of the State only to crown her son Rahul as the Prime Minister.
“Chandrababu Naidu is blatantly supporting Sonia’s ambitious moves and the Chief Minister, who became her lieutenant, implementing her arbitrary decision on state bifurcation at ground level,” Jagan said.
Referring to the meeting with the Governor, ESL Narasimhan today at Raj Bhavan, Jagan said YSR CP again approached the Governor to harp on Assembly session.
“We once again urged the Governor for the immediate convening of the State Assembly to take up a resolution to keep the State united,” he said.
