Distressed prisoner commits suicide at Cherlapally

A prisoner of Cherlapally Central Jail has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a bed sheet in his prison cell on Thursday morning.According to jail sources, the prisoner has been identified as Phartyanayak. Jail officials said that Naik was brought to Cherlapally on charges of killing his daughter. A resident of Manchala in Ranga Reddy district, he was reportedly depressed ever since he was brought to the jail. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. - Sakshipost
