Dharnas and protests galore across AP

The dharna call given by the YSRCP against the TDP government's failure to waive crop and DWCRA loans elicited tremendous response in all parts of the state. At every MRO office in the state of Andhra Pradesh, large number of party workers staged sit-ins and raised slogans.

Here is a round up of the protests in Kadapa, Guntur, Prakasam and Chittoor districts.

YSR Kadapa:
Ramapuram: YSRCP leader and ex MLA Gadikota Mohan Reddy staged a dharna in front of the MRO office
Proddutur: MLA Racha Mallu launched the protest programme at the MRO office
Sundupalli: YSRPC leaders and party activists launched a protest at the local MRO office
Pulivendula: YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy and former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy staged a sit-in at the MRO office. Large number of DWACRA women also took part in the dharna.
Pullampeta: Raiwaykoduru MLA and YSRCP leader Korumutla Srinivasulu held dharna at the MRO office.
Lakkireddypalli: YSRCP workers led by Rayachoty MLA Gadikota Sirkanth Reddy began protest at the MRO office. Hundreds of farmers and women raised solgans against the government.
Jammalamadugu: Protesting against the government indifference attitude, the YSRCP leaders including MLC Devagudi Narayana Reddy held a huge rally here. Hundreds of farmers participated in the rally.

Chittoor district:

Chittoor town: Hundreds of farmers and women led by MLA Desai Tippa Reddy launched a protest at the Madanapalli MRO office.
Tirupati: Former MLA and YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy staged a dharna at the RDO office in the town.
Srikalahasti: YSRCP leader Biyappa Madhusudhan Reddy began dharna here
Nagari: YSRCP MLA Roja along with hundreds of DWCRA women began a massive protest
Pileru: YSRCP MP Midhun Reddy, MLA Ramachandra Reddy launched the protest in Pilure and demaded immediate loan waiver.
Chandragiri: YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy staged a dharna at the Chandragiri MRO office.
Satyavedu: YSRCP leader Satyavedu began protest here.

Kurnool:
Dhone: Kurnool MP Butta Renuka, MLA Mani Gandhi and other YSRCP leaders staged a dharna
Adhoni: YSRCP MLA Sai Prasada Reddy began protest at at the RDO office. large number of party workers staged sit-ins and raised slogans.
Kurnool: SV Mohan Reddy with hundreds of farmers held a huge rally before staging dharna

Prakasam:
Podili: EX MLA Pichi Reddy, MPP Narasimha Rao, ZPTC Sai Rajeswara Rao launched the protest programme at Podili
Peda Araveedu: YSRCP leaders including party convenor Srinivasa Reddy held dharna at the mandal cente

Guntur:
Sattenapalle: YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu began protest at mandal head quarters
Chilakaluripeta: Party leader Marri Rajasekhar launched dharna
Narasaraopet: MLA Gopi Reddy Srinivas Reddy began protest. Large number of DWACRA women also took part in the dharna.
Guntur: YSRCP Guntur-East MLA Mustafa began protest and demanded the government to waive off the loans immidately. Several leaders including Lella Appi Reddy, Kaveti Manohar Nasir along with hundreds of farmers and women raised solgans against the government.
Mangalagiri: MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy and other leaders began protest at the MRO office.
Pidugurallu: Party leaders along with his supporters Janga Krishnamurthi launched the protest
Ponnuru: A massive protest began at the Ponnuru mandal quarters under the presence of Ravi Venkata Ramana.
