Boy’s Father, Girl’s Brother Commit Suicide In Bizarre Twist To Love Story

Zaheerabad: Two lives were lost on account resistance to a marriage. The incident took place on Friday night at Zaheerabad.

According to the locals and police, Nagamani and Mahesh were in love with each other for some time, but their parents were opposed to their marriage.

Two months ago, Nagamani was engaged with another man from Gotigaripalli, Mogudampalli. Mahesh learned of her engagement and went to Nagamani's house seeking her hand. Both the families got into an argument on Friday night. Mahesh's father Anjanna committed suicide by consuming pesticide.

Nagamani's brother Jagadeeshwar too committed suicide when he came to know of Anjanna's suicide. Later, Nagamani also consumed pesticide. The family members shifted them to Sangareddy hospital. Anjanna and Jagadeeshwar died while under going the treatment while Nagamani is out of danger. The police filed a case and started probing the matter.
